Our Groups
A key aim of Adult Critical Care Networks is to improve equity of access, experience and health outcomes for patients within critical care services, across healthcare organisations and geographical boundaries.
One of the most effective ways of doing this is through the sharing of experience, improvement, innovation, learning and best practice amongst our critical care units. As such, we have developed subject expert groups and forums to help enable this cross-unit collaborative working.
Group meetings and networking also provide the opportunity for peer support to staff working in these roles and areas.
These groups are formed of representatives from all critical care professions from all our units across the Network. They are chaired by a member of CMCCN core team or chosen member (or members) of the group who are then supported by the Network core team.
