Critical Care Outreach Nurse Leads Group

The Critical Care Outreach Team (CCOT) are a team of experienced practitioners who are highly skilled in supporting staff and caring for deteriorating and recovering critically ill patients and their families/carers. CCOT's are a valuable service supporting patients across the whole hospital setting.

Critical Care Outreach Practitioners (CCOPs) have a set of skills built upon existing professional competency and experience, to develop a rapid and responsive, often multi-professional service that requires leadership and authority to act in the best interests of patients.

This group brings together the Nurse leads for Critical Care Outreach Services across CMCCN.

The group aims to share new ideas and practice development. The services are benchmarked to enable development of services and learning from each other. The group also facilitate training sessions and days for all outreach teams within CMCCN.
