Created by patients for patients, Day One provides practical and emotional support so people can rebuild their lives and look forward to the future.

If you or a loved one has had a traumatic injury, their friendly caseworker Jade Hall can support you with any of the following:
- Small grants for immediate costs & ongoing recovery
- Peer support – talk to someone with lived experience
- Legal advice
- Benefits & welfare support

In the briefest of moments, a catastrophic injury can shatter someone’s life. Surviving these catastrophic injuries is just the start.
When lives are shattered by a life-changing injury Day One Trauma Support is there to help piece them back together.
We provide the practical, emotional, and financial support people need through bed-side support in hospitals and through our National Support Offer.
We are the only national charity to provide personalised support to anyone affected by a catastrophic injury of any kind, their loved ones and their families – for as long it takes.
Because we believe no one who has suffered a catastrophic injury should be left to rebuild their life on their own.
